Delhi Medical Association and IMA East Delhi Announce Doctors Week Celebrations

The Delhi Medical Association (DMA) in collaboration with various associate organizations, are proud to announce the commencement of Doctors Week. This week-long celebration will begin with a health walk on Sunday, 30th June, in collaboration with IMA East Delhi branch

The doctor’s week will culminate with  Arogyam 2024 – a full-day scientific program and felicitation of eminent doctors on 7th July at the India International Centre.

The Health Walk, themed “My Health, My Right,” inspired by the WHO slogan, will emphasize preventive health measures for doctors, paramedics, and society at large. This initiative aims to promote awareness about the importance of maintaining good health and adopting preventive measures in daily life.

Throughout the week, various significant issues pertaining to the medical profession will be discussed, including:

Ø  Violence against healthcare professionals

Ø  Clinical Establishments Act (CEA

Ø  Consumer Protection Act (CPA)

Ø  Fire Norms/NOC

Ø  Streamline of Nursing Home Registration issue

Ø  Biomedical Waste Management

Ø  Issues of Service Doctors

Ø  Rationalization & Integrity of Examination System

Ø  Exploitation of Residents Doctors,

These discussions will focus on creating a conducive ecosystem for practicing healthcare and addressing the challenges faced by the medical community.
